Using native plants in your home garden builds biodiversity and supports pollinators. Discover how to develop your relationship with nature by learning the fundamentals of design and management, including how to site and care for a curated selection of native trees, shrubs and perennials.

This event is part of a series of educational workshops presented by HAVYN Coworking. The goal is to educate HAYVN members & guests on marketing, finance and technology strategies and tactics to grow their business, plus health & wellness. HAYVN presents these seminars on a regular basis as a way to educate and inspire their members.

A third-generation horticulturist, Roberta DiBisceglie trained at the New York Botanical Garden’s School of Professional Horticulture and has managed landscapes for over 20 years. In 1998 she founded Columbine, a fine landscape gardening and design company that develops and nurtures relationships between people and their gardens. A consultant for the Norwalk Pollinator Pathway, an active and enthusiastic mentor with the Norwalk Mentor Program as well as a board member of the East Norwalk Neighborhood Association, Roberta believes that the natural world restores and renews the human spirit.
