From Seed to Cup: A Coffee Cupping Event

Attention coffee aficionados, connoisseurs, cognoscente and outright coffee freaks! On Thursday, July 11 from 9:30-10:30 am, we’ll explore the path coffee takes from the seed to your cup, discussing regions and our favorite farms.
Following the presentation we’ll taste through a variety of coffees to understand how processing and location affect flavor.
HAYVN members and their guests will have the chance to vote for their favorite fresh roasted, single origin bean for our daily HAYVN brew! (Or maybe we’ll create a custom blend, just for us.) Everyone is welcome to weigh-in.

Jason is a fourth generation coffee roaster located in Port Chester, NY who created Path to provide delicious, single origin coffee year-round. The goal of Path is to help customers to have a more connected relationship with their coffee, so we offer the ability to customize blends or tailor their coffee program to suit their needs.
All Path coffees are roasted in small batches with a delicate hand. This develops their naturally distinct tastes and aromas without imparting any roast or smoke characteristics. What we look for is an overall clarity of flavor, natural sweetness and a bold presence in the cup.
