As a member of the HAYVN community, you are cordially invited to join our monthly book club series. Each month, we will focus on a book that will help Hayvn members develop and grow in their professional and personal lives. The books are listed below. You are invited to join for the book that interests you or join us for all.

A reminder will be sent 30 days before the discussion session. At the session, either Nancy Sheed or Sue Yasav will facilitate a group discussion. These sessions are only open to HAYVN members unless otherwise specified.

About Building a StoryBrand

This book outlines a successful method of connecting with customers and provides companies with the ultimate competitive advantage in marketing themselves. It provides a recipe for creating differentiated positioning that taps directly into the company’s value-add to its clients. This includes the compelling benefits of using their products, ideas, or services.

Building a StoryBrand does this by teaching companies the seven universal story points all humans respond to, the real reason customers make purchases, how to simplify a brand message so people understand it, and how to create the most effective messaging for websites, brochures, and social media. 

In our book discussion, we will delve into the concepts of the book and create our own story brand, whether it’s for our company or our own personal brand. The book is available on Amazon and at many local libraries.

HAYVN regularly presents social events and educational workshops. The goal is to build community, provide networking opportunities and/or educate HAYVN members & guests on marketing, finance & technology strategies and tactics to grow their business. HAYVN presents these events and seminars on a regular basis as a way to educate and inspire their members.
