ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Anne McGuire began her career as a volunteer EMT at 14 and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a surgical trauma nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital before becoming a case manager and clinical supervisor at Branford Visiting Nurses Agency. With the rise of Managed Care, Anne transitioned to Tufts Health Plans as a Utilization Review Nurse and Certified Case Manager, helping physicians manage patient care across various settings.

After returning to Darien, Anne served as Director of Consulting at a Healthcare Advocacy business, offering services such as insurance analysis, claims management, and care advocacy. She found the work deeply rewarding and eventually founded Healthcare Pathfinder due to client demand. Her personal experience advocating for her own family has further fueled her passion for helping others navigate the complexities of healthcare.
