HYPE is HAYVN's Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs Group led by Leala Marlin, HAYVN Community Manager and Kat Gunya, from Digital Retail Partners.

This group will bring young entrepreneurs and professionals together to support professional development and strategies for success in their business or their job.

Each meeting we will discuss ways to take your business or career to the next level with support from peers and industry experts.

Non-Members – $20* per session.

*Your admission fee can be applied as a credit towards a HAYVN Junior Social Membership ($45 p/month or $500 p/year)

About Leala Marlin and Kat Gunya

Katherine Gunya graduated from University of St. Andrews with a bachelor of psychology, focusing the social foundations of morality. During her time there, she chaired committee positions with the Opera and Entrepreneurship Societies, wrote and edited for St.ART magazine, sang with the university's semiprofessional opera company, and was a member of Women in Work. She currently works as the CRM & Marketing Coordinator for Digital Retail Partners, a D2C marketing and digital design agency.

In her free time, Katherine can most often be found hiking, cooking, reading, or meditating.

Leala Marlin, Community Manager at HAYVN

Leala graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and Electronic Media. During her time at UTK, she took on the roles of Director of Diversity Affairs, Senator for the College of Communications, and feature writer for UT Torchlight. In addition to this involvement, she became actively engaged in her local community through volunteering and has continued that activism in her new community. After graduating, she moved to Stamford, CT, where she is currently working for Rubenstein Partners as an Assistant Property Manager.

Through these experiences, she saw how important connection and collaboration is to both personal and professional development. She and Kat Gunya are now spearheading the HAYVN Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) Networking Group to fulfill that very need within the local community. We are continuing to welcome new members into the group every month, and we are excited to find and feature speakers that can enrich our members' experience through learning and engagement.
