HAYVN HEALTH: Darien YMCA Class “Rock Solid” at HAYVN – September 4, 2019

HAYVN HEALTH Workout Class Series – Darien YMCA Introduces Rock Solid Class with Jess Van Sciver.
Don’t be fooled by the duration of this class, Rock Solid is designed to strengthen and tone your body in just 45 minutes. Body weight exercises will activate your core into gear, with emphasis on stability, strength and muscle endurance. Added bursts of cardiovascular training will stimulate your sweat, to aid your body’s natural detox and improve fat burning. The class will be engaging while keeping your body challenged, as each class will provide different formats and exercises. Get ready to feel strong, refreshed and prepared to take on the work day ahead! Rock Solid will be offered right below your office at HAYVN, and led by The Darien Y’s Director of Health and Wellness, Jessica Van Sciver.

HAYVN Members: $120 for the full 8 weeks
Non-HAYVN Members: $160 for the full 8 weeks

Jessica Van Sciver, Director of Health and Fitness at the Darien YMCA
With several accreditations in the health and fitness industry including a B.S. in Exercise Science and Health and Human Performance from Roanoke College, a Health Coaching certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and numerous fitness qualifications, Jessica has continued to progress in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years. She is always learning through wellness education, experience with teaching (and listening), as well as living though her own personal discoveries about what it means to be healthy… and it doesn’t always mean cutting calories! Jessica loves to introduce innovative and successful ways to support wellness in YOU, and to teach all how to live a fulfilled and healthy lifestyle. Her success in the field of health and fitness is due to her focus on bio-individuality, by stepping away from the “one-size-fits-all” approach and establishing goals that emphasize all the dimensions of wellness.
As the Director of Health and Fitness at the Darien YMCA, Jessica has dedicated her time developing holistic programs for the community. With eagerness to provide insight on personal wellness, her goal is to change your life and trigger a ripple effect in spreading health all around. She invites you to join her in this movement of health and wellness and learn how to live your best life!
