Strong Savvy Women Monthly Meeting

Our June Strong Savvy Women meeting will provide a private and safe space for women to get support wherever they are on their journey. We’re thrilled to have Marriage and Family Therapist Trevor Crow, LMFT, MBA as our sponsor, speaker and co-facilitator at this event. She will be speaking on how to overcome emotional challenges at all stages of divorce or singlehood – plus how to foster healthy relationships. Crow is a therapist from Greenwich, CT and is running for the Connecticut State Senate in District 36 as a Democrat.

The group is an empowerment organization for women who are single, divorced, widowed or are in transition founded by Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior coaching (www.freedomwarrior.info). Polacko and Crow will be facilitating the Support Circle where there will be time for women to share and get advice from other women in the group.

Refreshments will be provided. Strong Savvy Women always protect attendees’ privacy and only takes photos if permission is granted. Advance registration is required.

Polacko started Strong Savvy Women as a support group in her living room years ago and it has now grown to include women from all over Fairfield County – and beyond. As part of her Freedom Warrior coaching business she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women.

“Every single month, magic happens when women get in the same room at our meetings,” Polacko says. “We usually have a quick opportunity to share before our speaker but this month we’re dedicating the majority of the event to this. The most important thing women realize is I’m not alone, other people have faced the same thing and if she can get through it, I can too!”

The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, self-love and real estate for single women. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Fairfield County, LLC and financial advisor Alison Hamilton of Eagle Ridge Investments LLC are on the group’s advisory board.
