Strong Savvy Women Monthly Meeting

How do you move forward with a divorce? What’s mediation, collaborative divorce and litigation? How do you handle post-divorce issues?

We’ll be covering this and so much more at Strong Savvy Women’s event “Insider Tips from Divorce Attorneys” on March 9 at 7 p.m. in Darien, CT. The group is an empowerment organization for women who are single, divorced, widowed or are in transition founded by Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior divorce coaching.

The firm of Ferro & Battey LLC, Divorce and Family Law of Darien is sponsoring this important event and the legal panel will include litigator Janet Battey and attorney/mediator Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Ridgefield/Danbury LLC. Amy Polacko will moderate, and attendees will be able to ask questions as well.

The event will take place at Hayvn, the beautiful women centered co-working space located at 320 Boston Post Road, Suite 180 in Darien. Admission is $20 and refreshments will be provided. The group always protect attendees’ privacy and only takes photos if permission is granted.

Polacko started Strong Savvy Women as a support group in her living room years ago and it has now grown to include women from all over Fairfield County – and beyond. As part of her Freedom Warrior coaching business (www.freedomwarrior.info) she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women, no matter what stage they are at in the process.

“Divorce doesn’t have to be the end,” Polacko says. “It can actually be an exciting new beginning.”

The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, self-love and dating post Covid. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Ridgefield/Danbury LLC and financial advisor Alison Hamilton of Eagle Ridge Investments LLC are on the group’s advisory board.
