DESCRIPTION:The newly launched B Local CT is thrilled to invite you to celebrate the potential for our state to be a leader in the Business as a Force for Good movement.  \nB Locals are place-based communities of people using business as a force for good. At the core of every B Local are Certified B Corporations — for-profit companies using the power of business to transform the global economy to benefit all people\, communities\, and the planet. Certified B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab that meet the high standards of social and environmental performance\, accountability\, and transparency. There are currently more than 5\,600 Certified B Corps across the globe from 85 countries\, across 158 industries. B Corps have one unifying goal: to redefine success in business. \nB Local Connecticut is a collaborative group dedicated to using Business as a Force for Good. It aims to provide the resources and support for like-minded companies and organizations to make environmentally conscious\, ethically minded\, and socially responsible choices.
